Bethenny Frankel reacts to Bravo ‘b----‘ Andy Cohen calling her out: ‘He lost all his OGs’

Bethenny Frankel shares her reaction to Andy Cohen shading her TikTok content.

Over the weekend, the Bravo boss responded to the possibility of Frankel returning to Real Housewives by saying, “I’m not really active on TikTok.”

Frankel then claimed that the reality star is simply “bitter” about the exit of so many OG RHONY stars.

Bethenny Frankel won’t let Andy Cohen’s shade go unchecked.

The Real Housewives of New York OG didn’t hesitate to clap back at the Bravo boss after he dismissively brushed off the idea of bringing her back to the franchise during this weekend’s Bravo Fan Fest.

“Well, Andy Cohen took a swipe at me on a panel,” Frankel began in an Oct. 24 TikTok video. “So let’s take the bait.”

The call-out in question came while Cohen was moderating a panel where Real Housewives alum Carole Radziwill was asked whether she could see Frankel returning to the franchise.

Radziwill replied, “I don’t know if she’d come back. That’s way above my pay grade. That’s Andy’s [decision].”

Cohen, an executive producer for the franchise, merely shrugged and said, “I’m not really active on TikTok.”

Responding to that remark, Frankel said, “Which is abundantly clear, because he’s still sitting in the same place I left him.”

Frankel, who exited RHONY in 2020 to focus on her business ventures, then argued that the “only thing” that has changed for Cohen in the years since her departure is “the ratings” on the show. She also posited that the Bravo host is  “a little bitter” that he “lost all his OGs,” referencing the departure of several OG New York Housewives, including Luann de Lesseps, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, and Dorinda Medley, who are now starring on the E! reality series, The Golden Life.

“He’s living the stainless steel life on Bravo, where he’s their b----,” she continued. “He waits for them to pay their paycheck, while we are all over here making our own coin, on our own way, on our own terms.”

She concluded by telling the camera, “If you’re gonna take a shot at this b, you better not miss.”

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for Cohen for comment.

Down in the comments section of Frankel’s video, fans were mixed about whether or not her calling out the Bravo boss was justified.

“The ultimate flex isn’t being invited back to the table — it’s realizing you no longer need a seat,” remarked one user, cheering her on. The comment was met with over 900 likes.

But critics of Frankel’s post pointed to the fact that Bravo — and Cohen — helped her achieve her current success.

“Oh Bethany... no one would know who the hell you are if it wasn’t for bravo and Andy,” one user wrote.

Another questioned whether or not Cohen’s comment was even meant as an insult, as opposed to a harmless way to move on from the conversation.

This is not the first time that Frankel and Cohen have traded barbs. Following Frankel’s tenure on RHONY — she appeared in the first three seasons and later returned for seasons 7 through 11 — the duo’s relationship took a toxic turn.

For one, Frankel began openly sharing her opinions about the Real Housewives shows — including criticizing the environment it created for the women involved. In 2022, Cohen accused Frankel of “trashing” the franchise during her visit to his Watch What Happens Live talk show.

“I actually haven’t been trashing the show,” Frankel argued. “I’ve said it wasn’t for me because I do think it was toxic.”

The reality star also hit back at Cohen for challenging her publicly rather than reaching out in private. The conversation was somewhat tense, but eventually saw Frankel go after the episode’s other guest, Bravo alum Jeff Lewis, rather than Cohen.

Frankel has also claimed that she only received $7,250 for her first season of RHONY despite generating “millions and millions of dollars in advertising and online impressions.” Cohen later told Vulture that her comments were part of a “sustained attack” against him.

Cohen also took a swipe at Frankel’s TikTok usage earlier this year.

“I also went on TikTok just to see what the kids were saying about New Year’s Eve,”  he said on a Jan. 5 episode of Andy Cohen Live. He then indicated that he came across Frankel’s videos, commenting, “Boy, that margarita lady. Oh my god, it’s suffocating. I couldn’t.”
