Jason Kelce remembers it all too well.

The retired Super Bowl champion, 38, spoke about younger brother Travis Kelce’s wedding to Taylor Swift for the first time on Thursday, July 9 at the ACC Golf Championship, just six days after the power couple tied the knot in a star-studded New York City ceremony on Friday, July 3.

“It was a good time,” Jason told a fan at the golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, according to The New York Post, and he reportedly described the wedding as “great” when another fan asked.

At another point on the course, Jason was asked if he drank more or less than 15 beers at the big party, to which he reportedly said the final tally of beers he consumed was “way over” 15, per the Post.

Jason served as Travis’ best man for the glamorous nuptials at Madison Square Garden, while Swift’s younger brother, Austin Swift, played a special role as her “man of honor.” The couple did not have additional bridesmaids or groomsmen.

“The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler,” Swift’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE in a statement.

Swift and Travis, both 36, were surrounded by loved ones when they exchanged vows inside the iconic N.Y.C. venue on July 3. The nuptials followed their engagement announcement last summer after two years of dating.

Jason, who has been married to wife Kylie Kelce since 2018, made his first public appearance since his brother’s wedding on Wednesday, July 8 at ACC Golf Championship, which is put on by American Century Investments. Former NFL quarterback and fellow wedding guest Ryan Fitzpatrick was also in attendance and gushed to PEOPLE about the “unbelievable” night.

“We were very excited to get the invite and very privileged to be there,” Fitzpatrick said, adding “they did everything top notch.”
