Love on the Spectrum won the 2026 Emmy for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Series on Saturday, Sept. 5

The Netflix show won Outstanding Unstructured Reality Series at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys ceremony in Los Angeles held on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Love on the Spectrum follows people with autism as they navigate the world of dating. Season 4 of the Netflix series saw the return of fan-favorite couples and the introduction of new cast members.

The series, which is renewed for a fifth season, also won the category in 2022 and 2025. This year it also won Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program.

This year, the other shows nominated for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Series were America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked, Summer House and Welcome to Wrexham.

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders follows the cheerleaders from their first auditions to their NFL season performances. The third season saw the cheer squad face personal and professional challenges, as well as the departure of beloved veteran Reece Weaver.

America’s Sweethearts was renewed for a fourth season, which is expected to release in 2027. The team’s senior director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell will rejoin the cast.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked’Credit: courtesy Apple TV+

The RuPaul’s Drag Race spinoff Untucked offers viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the popular competition show. The companion series captures the contestants as they compete for the $200,000 prize and the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.

RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked debuted in 2010 and has since been nominated for 18 Emmys, winning Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program in 2021. The series is renewed for its season 18, alongside the return of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

‘Summer House’Credit: Kareem Black/Bravo

This is Summer House’s first-ever Emmy nomination in its 10-season run. The hit Bravo series follows a group of friends from New York City as they spend the summer in the Hamptons. The Emmy consideration comes after a scandal involving Summer House stars Ciara Miller, West Wilson, Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke took the show by storm. Season 11 is coming soon.

Welcome to Wrexham follows Wrexham AFC, one of the oldest soccer clubs, which was acquired by Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac in 2021. The series sees the highs and lows of the soccer season, as well as the business of owning the Welsh team.

FX renewed the series, executive-produced by Reynolds and Mac, for three seasons, carrying the show into 2029. Season 5 will follow Wrexham AFC on their quest to be promoted to the Premier League.

The 78th Emmy Awards (Creative Arts) are being held on Sept. 5 and Sept. 6 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will be edited into a single broadcast that airs Saturday, Sept. 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FXX and streams on Hulu the next day. The Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on NBC and Peacock Monday, Sept. 14, with host Mariska Hargitay.
