While many of the richest billionaires have spent most of their time running companies and building their empires, they are also parents.

Those who are among the top of the Forbes World’s Billionaires List — including Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk — have anywhere from two to 14 children. Zuckerberg became a first-time dad in 2015, while Ellison’s parenthood journey began in 1983. Musk has welcomed at least 14 children with four women over the years.

Some of their kids, including Jensen Huang’s daughter and son, have followed in their billionaire parent’s footsteps, while others have charted their own paths. Meanwhile, Warren Buffett’s three adult children have used their dad’s wealth to run major philanthropic foundations.

Below, here’s everything to know about the kids of the world’s richest billionaires.

Jeff Bezos’ four children and three stepchildren

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos welcomed four children with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott.

Bezos has kept his kids’ lives private, including only sharing the name of his eldest son, Preston, which is Bezos’ middle name. They have made appearances alongside their dad on some occasions, including the Star Trek Beyond premiere in July 2016.

In addition to his four biological children, Bezos has a blended family with his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, whom he married in June 2025 and who is a mom to Nikko, Evan and Ella. Sánchez Bezos welcomed Nikko in 2001 with ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez, followed by Evan and Ella with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell in 2006 and 2008, respectively.

Sánchez Bezos compared their blended family to the “Brady Bunch” during a January 2023 conversation with WSJ. Magazine.

“On a typical Saturday, we hang out, we have dinner with the kids, which is always fun because you never know where the conversation is going to go with this many kids,” Sánchez Bezos said.

After founding the household name PC company in 1984, Michael Dell married Susan Dell (née Lieberman) in 1989 and they welcomed four kids. They have three daughters — Alexa, Kira and Juliette — and a son, Zach.

“My kids definitely grew up in a comfortable environment, but that doesn’t mean we did everything for them or made it easy,” Michael said in an October 2025 interview with Timeless Partners. “In our house, the rules were the rules. If you wanted something, you had to work hard for it, or save your money, or whatnot.”

Several of them have followed in their dad’s entrepreneurial footsteps, including Zach, a University of Southern California alum who co-founded Base Power Company in 2023 after working in private equity, per his LinkedIn. Outside of the business world, Juliette is an accomplished equestrian.

Michael’s daughter Alexa has also made the billionaire a grandfather, as she has two children of her own.

Sergey Brin’s three children

Sergey Brin, who also co-founded Google, welcomed three children between two marriages.

He and his first wife, 23andMe co-founder Anne Wojcicki, share two children, Chloe and Benji, per CNN. Their last name is Wojin, which is a portmanteau of both Brin and Wojcicki, per Business Insider.

In a November 2017 profile for The New York Times, Wojcicki said that she made an effort to protect her two kids from the “insanity” of megawealth.

“I have people who clean the house three days a week,” she told the outlet. “And I just told them to stop doing laundry on Fridays because my kids need to learn how to do laundry on Fridays. It’s so easy to be like, ‘I don’t have to do laundry again. I don’t have to cook again.’ But then you’re not normal.”

Brin and Wojcicki finalized their divorce in 2015, the same year he began dating Nicole Shanahan. They eventually wed in 2018, per Business Insider, and welcomed a baby girl, Echo, that year. Brin filed for divorce from Shanahan in January 2022.

Mark Zuckerberg’s three daughters

Zuckerberg, who founded Meta, shares three daughters with his wife, pediatrician Dr. Priscilla Chan.

After years of the couple struggling to have children and Chan experiencing several miscarriages, they became parents in late 2015 when they welcomed daughter Maxima, who often goes by the nickname Max. In 2017, Zuckerberg and Chan welcomed their second child, daughter August, who got a little sister when Aurelia was born in 2023.

In December 2019, the then-parents of two appeared on CBS This Morning and opened up about making sure their kids grow up grounded.

“[We] don’t give them everything,” Zuckerberg said, while Chan added, “They have chores, they have responsibilities.”

Jensen Huang’s two children

Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA, shares daughter Madison and son Spencer with his wife, Lori Mills. His kids have followed in his footsteps and even landed jobs at NVIDIA.

His daughter is currently the senior director of product and technical marketing for physical AI platforms, per her company bio. Madison, who received her MBA from London Business School, has been with the company since her internship in 2020, per her LinkedIn.

As for Spencer, he has been with NVIDIA, where he works as director of product management for robotics, since 2022, per his LinkedIn. He previously held contract roles at Pfizer, Ford Motor Company and Ommo Technologies, Inc.

Larry Ellison’s son and daughter

Ellison’s kids — David and Megan, born in 1983 and 1986, respectively — have followed in his entrepreneurial footsteps while still carving out paths of their own. He shares them with Barbara Boothe, whom he was married to for three years and who mostly raised the kids, per GQ.

David spent two summers working for Ellison at Oracle, where he built websites. He began his college years studying business at Pepperdine, but ultimately transferred to the University of Southern California for film school. Then, in 2006, he dropped out to finance his first movie, Flyboys, which he starred in alongside James Franco.

Although the film wasn’t a major box-office hit, David continued working in entertainment and eventually founded the production company Skydance Media, which is behind major hits including Top Gun: Maverick (2022) and films in the Mission: Impossible franchise. Skydance has since merged with Paramount, and David is now the CEO and chairman of Paramount Skydance.

Much like her brother, Megan dropped out of college to make movies. In 2011, she launched a production company, Annapurna, which produced popular films including Her (2013) and American Hustle (2013), films that led Megan to make history the following year when she became the first woman to receive two Academy Award nominations for Best Picture.

Warren Buffett’s three kids

Buffett, the former chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, has three children, Susie, Howard and Peter, whom he shares with his late first wife Susan Buffett. Susie was born in 1953, followed by Howard in 1954 and Peter in 1958.

During a September 2013 conversation with Forbes, Buffett spoke about raising them humbly despite their family’s wealth.

“[They] did not see us moving into progressively fancier houses; they did not ride in private planes,” he said. “They went to school on the bus. Every member of the Buffett family in Omaha has gone to a public school. They went to the same school that their mother had gone to. They went to the same high school that she’d gone to. ... [They] never really thought that we were economically different.”

Peter also told the outlet that he didn’t know how wealthy his dad was until he reached his 20s and had a conversation with his mom after Buffett ended up on a “list.”

“[We] laughed about it, because we said, ‘Well, isn’t it funny? You know, we know who we are, but everybody’s treating us differently now,’ ” Peter recalled. “It was a fascinating switch, although not a huge one because we didn’t live in that world or a cultural framework where there was a lot of wealth being shown. Our friends were as surprised as I was.”

All three of his children are among some of the world’s leading philanthropists. After receiving nearly $7.9 billion in Berkshire Hathaway shares, they gave away at least $7.4 billion through their charitable foundations between 2001 and 2023, per Forbes.

Elon Musk’s 14 children

Tesla founder Musk became a first-time dad in 2002 and has since had at least 13 more children with four women.

The billionaire first welcomed son Nevada Alexander with his first wife Justine Wilson. Nevada died at 10 weeks old. He and Wilson, whom he divorced in 2008, had five more children, including twins Vivian and Griffin and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian.

Musk is estranged from Vivian, who explained that she no longer wished “to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form” when she petitioned the court to legally change her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson in April 2022, per court documents obtained by PEOPLE. The petition was granted in June 2022.

In 2020, Musk and singer Grimes welcomed their first child, X Æ A-12, and later had daughter Exa Dark Sideræl and son Techno Mechanicus. In March 2022, Grimes revealed in a Vanity Fair interview that she had welcomed a baby girl, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, via surrogate in December 2021, three months after she and Musk publicly broke up. They went on to secretly welcome one more child together, a son named Techno Mechanicus, who was born in June 2022.

A few weeks before the tech CEO and Grimes welcomed their second child, Musk secretly fathered twins with Shivon Zilis, an executive at his company Neuralink. Son Strider and daughter Azure were born in November 2021, per court documents published by Business Insider. Musk and Zilis went on to have two more children, daughter Arcadia and son Seldon Lycurgus. Arcadia was born in February 2024, and it is unclear when Seldon was born.

In February 2025, author Ashley St. Clair revealed that she and Musk had welcomed a child, a son named Romulus, five months earlier. (News of Seldon’s birth came just weeks after St. Clair’s announcement, but it remains unclear if Romulus was born before or after Musk and Zilis had welcomed their fourth child together.)

The same month she announced Romulus’ birth, St. Clair sued Musk for sole legal custody and filed a paternity petition. (The Wall Street Journal reported in April 2025 that Musk took a paternity test and the report came back with a 99.9999% probability.)

Nearly a year after St. Clair’s filing, Musk wrote in a January 2026 post on X that he planned to attempt to get full custody of their son after St. Clair changed her views to support the transgender community.

Musk has made several comments about his growing number of kids over the years.

“A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far,” he wrote on X in July 2022. In a separate post on X that month, Musk wrote, “I hope you have big families and congrats to those who already do!”

Bill Gates’ three kids

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is a father of three, welcoming his first child, daughter Jennifer, in 1996, with philanthropist Melinda French Gates. The former couple, who finalized their divorced in 2021, welcomed son Rory in 1999 and daughter Phoebe in 2002.

Jennifer has veered away from the tech world and pursued medicine. She holds a master’s degree in public health from Columbia University, as well as a degree in human biology from Stanford University. In May 2024, her “childhood aspiration” came true when she graduated from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Jennifer, who is now a pediatric resident, has started a family of her own. After marrying equestrian Nayel Nassar in October 2021, the couple welcomed two kids.

While Rory mostly remains out of the spotlight, his sister Phoebe has been vocal about social and political issues, as well as her passion for fashion.

She graduated from Stanford University in June 2024. Since then, she and her college roommate have launched a podcast for Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network and co-founded a sustainable fashion platform called Phia.
