Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now back in the UK, with one of Meghan's former friends revealing a likely reason behind the move.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left their home in Montecito, California, last month and moved to Harry's home country with their two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. It's believed the kids are enrolled in schools in the UK.
With Harry and Meghan now back in the UK, Royal Family fans are hopeful they will spend more time with King Charles. It comes as a former royal butler suggested the King will be "very excited to have Archie and Lilibet close again."

Meghan's old friend Nick Ede has spoken to The Express US to share some insight into the Sussexes move back to the UK. "I think Harry has reached a point where he wants to rebuild a meaningful connection with Britain rather than simply return for occasional court cases or charity engagements," he told us on behalf of Cafe Casino.
Nick added, "The UK remains his home, his heritage and a huge part of his identity."

Nick also suggested King Charles' health struggles might have played a part in Meghan and Harry's move. The monarch was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer in February 2024.

He has been receiving treatment for the illness, with his wife Queen Camilla recently admitting it was a "difficult" thing to keep a secret during her husband's early public visits.
Nick told us, "The King's health will undoubtedly have sharpened Harry's awareness that time is precious. Their recent family visit appears to have helped thaw relations and may have shown Harry and Meghan that spending time here is possible without automatically being drawn back into royal duties.
"They are in a different position now: they have established an independent life and no longer need every decision to be framed as either choosing the monarchy or rejecting it."
Harry and Meghan visited the UK with their children in July before making their move and spent time with Charles and Camilla at Highgrove House.
Buckingham Palace described the meeting at the King's private home in Gloucestershire as a "private family occasion." It was the first time Charles had seen Archie and Lilibet in more than four years.
Nick also suggested Harry's move to the UK will strengthen the Duke of Sussex's bond with King Charles, telling us, "A greater UK presence could be extremely positive for Harry's relationship with his father. Reconciliation rarely happens through one dramatic summit; it normally develops through repeated, private and relatively ordinary contact."
