Reds sign St-Etienne teenager N'Guessan for £4.3m

Liverpool have completed a £4.3m deal for French forward Djylian N'Guessan from St-Etienne.

N'Guessan will officially join the Reds in January but then spend the rest of the 2026-27 campaign on loan at Ligue 1 side Brest.

The 18-year-old is a product of the St-Etienne academy. He made his debut in January 2025 and featured 13 times, scoring one goal.

He featured seven times for France at the 2025 U20 World Cup and was also named in the team of the tournament at last summer's U17 European Championship.
